So I went to Target to get some stuff for an upcoming trip and found this dress. Fell in love with it on the rack and didn't try it on but since it was only 8 bucks, I brought it home anyway. Tried it on, fell out of love. The fit is really strange but I think if I can get it to fit better in the waist, the pleats will balance out more and become more of a full shirt instead of figure UN-flattering white smock.
Now, I know a lot of you ladies have skill on the sewing machine and with making clothes look much much better, so, any ideas?
Skirt-old navy/tee-shakespear in the park/belt-boyfriend's
Still working on figuring out that self timer thing.....
Sorry I didn't update sooner, boyfried who lives 178 miles away came up for a couple days and I tend to put life on a hold a bit when hes here so I can put a hold on him. But alas, hes left again and ive been thrifting which has become supringly addicting. Pics of recent purchases to come.
But for now im just going to post an outfit I may ner have the guts to wear but I think looks just dandy. Ive got no idea what to wear for shoes. Ideas ladies?
The shirt, which I love but have yet the wear, is from shakespear in the park which is a fantastic thing that goes through Montana putting on shows of shakespears work. On the front is a skeleton and a quote along the lines of; if you can get rid of the skeletons in your closet youd best teach them to dance.
And on a side note.... Today was my last physical therapy session!!!!! Yay!
And its nice to be back and hear from you ladies :)
Hola! Finally uploaded a photo from Saturday.... But I guess is better late than never eh?
As warning to my dear readers, I can't figure out self-timer to save my life. I've had my camera for over a year and it still baffles me. So please bear with theses shoddy photos. and my legs aren't that short! Bad angle.... Plus, I am kinda short 5'5''.... And I took that without the shoes, which were solid black chucks. Went to Shakespear in the Park that got moved inside due to rain, and I nearly died of heat stroke. I managed to survive even though they filled the aisles with chairs so if there were a fire, i'd be offed! Thankfully noone was smoking other than under the collar.
By the way, i'm having formatting issues with this post so please, once again, bear with me.
Im Bri. I'm a hippy, or so says my boyfriend. Mainly because im lazy, or as I hear people call it now "laid-back." I call it lazy still. I like comfort, and have no shame. I usually stick to jeans but occasionally throw a skirt or dress in the mix just to suprise people. I don't do shorts. I like neutrals and prefer to live a quiet existence. Though I love making people laugh, I'm a glass half-full type person. Pessimists are my least favorite things in the world. I thrive in the cold weather. I babble and lose my train of thought quickly. I'm going to be a psychologist, and one day i'll live in Seattle. While I prefer a quiet existence, I love pissing people off. My political views are constantly shown in my clothing. I don't sleep much. I love coffee, but only if its cold. Hot coffee should not exist. I cross-dress frequently and shop in the mens department way too much. I like my style, or lack thereof. Maybe you will too.
Im Bri. Simple and lazy. I wear whats clean and looks okay. Like to cross-dress and have just recently decided dresses are okay. Like books, love coffee. Too cheap to pay full price and don't care about designers.
